The 2026 MAZDA CX-30: The Safe and Stylish SUV Welcomes a New Trim

Power and Performance

Eight trims comprise the roster of this new Mazda SUV. Two powertrains are available, both based on a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. For the entry-level and midrange trims, this engine achieves 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Higher-end trims, including the Aire Edition trim, add a turbocharger that increases power output to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque.

All engines match with i-Activ AWD® and an advanced six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and sport mode. G-Vectoring Control Plus®, which adjusts engine torque and braking based on steering inputs, is also standard, along with a new Limited Slip Differential that improves stability and traction.

Cargo and Cabin

You’ll be pleasantly surprised by the cabin size of the 2026 Mazda CX-30. A total of 45.2 cu ft is available for cargo stowage with the second row folded down. Even if you leave this row up, you’ll still have 20.2 cu ft of capacity to use. For gear that won’t fit in the cabin, just pair this SUV’s roof rails with a set of available roof rack crossbars to form a sturdy carrying surface. 

Infotainment

Infotainment-wise, the big news this year is that even more trims come standard with the upgraded 10.25-inch touchscreen display. It includes Alexa Built-in™ integration and wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.
